This really does make big cupcakes with a total depth of 20cm and a diameter of 21cm. It is the equivalent of 10 standard size cupcakes in one. The top half of the cake helps you to create a nice 3D effect with your artistic decoration. It makes an excellent birthday cake and shows that you went to a lot more effort than driving down to the local supermarket to get a boxed cake – imagine the face of the recipient when see its size.

Experiment to your hearts content with hundreds of cake recipes. No need to mould tens of cakes into paper cups to bake – just pile it into this professional finish gigantic aluminium tin. Do you think you could manage a whole one by yourself in one go? Give it a go.

Customer Reviews

We interviewed Laura from Bedfordshire about how she is getting on with her recent addition to her ever growing collection of kitchen gadgets.

How did you come by the Wilton giant cupcake tin?
It was gift from my sister. I do a lot of baking at weekends and she thought this may bring some more joy to my cooking.

What did you first think of it?
It is the biggest cupcake mould I have ever seen! I am used to creating many little cupcakes in silicone cups.

How often do you use it?

I used it quite often at first, experimenting with different toppings. The 3D effect at the top of the cake provides a great testing ground for new ideas. After having it for a few months it now comes out at special occasions. Instead of buying a birthday cake for my husband a couple of weeks back, I made him an en extra chocolate giant cupcake.

How easy is it to use?
Just the same as any other high quality baking tray and the great thing is that it is really easy to clean out after use.

Any tips?
Use baking oil spray or grease well with butter before you add ingredients as the base can be a little tricky to get out otherwise.

Would you recommend it to others?

Absolutely. You can have so much fun testing different decorations ideas and after some trial and error you will become a master of giant cupcakes.
